GROUPS

 

LOCAL MISSIONS-    Helps provide basic life needs and referrals to other area resources  

 

FOREIGN MISSIONS-  A fund to provide for travels to other lands and reach out to those with physical and spiritual needs.  Our last mission trip was to Chile.

 

FOOD PANTRY-   Provides non-perishable foods to area needy in times of emergency

 

SONSHINERS-   A Seniors group that works together in fellowship and in service to others

YOUTH -    Grades 7 through 12.  Group of kids who fellowship and serve with a real heart for service to others as the hands and feet of Christ.  Currently our youth meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 and other times for various activities.  Come check it out!

 

CHILDREN-     Ages preschool - 6th grade.  Faith 'n Fun activities and awesomely fun learning opportunities (with additions like VBS sprinkled in for good measure)!  Currently our school-aged children meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 for prayer, a short message, and various FUN activities.  Come join us!

 

NURSERY-   Newborn - preschool aged children.  Providing a safe and fun environment during church activities.  The 1st Sunday of each month is usually some type of art project (painting, clay creations, various crafts) -- come dressed for messy stuff on those days!  : - )

 

MEN'S GROUP-  A group of men bound together in faith, fellowship, service, and love.  Various activities in addition to having a Men's Breakfast on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

 

BIBLE STUDY GROUP-   Meeting at various times to be announced!  Groups are comprised of people from all walks of life and various church affiliations.  Watch for new study announcements in the church bulletin & newsletter...or call the church office at (205) 553-2542 for more information! 

 

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN- A group of women bound together in faith, fellowship, service, and love.  Meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. -- meeting night subject to change.  Watch for announcements in the church bulletin or newsletter...or call the church office at (205) 553-2542 for more information!

 

CHOIR- A group of men and women bound together in their love for God, music, and each other.  Rehearsals are always open to new members.  AM Chancel Choir rehearsal is Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m.  (Praise Team members and rehearsals are added as needed.  See our Music Minister for details!)
